Shakil Osman is a member of the Board of the Youth Association of the Islamic Community (CilJovem) , a non-profit religious, educational and cultural association dedicated to organize activities to promote interaction inside the Islamic Community and at the same time to build bridges between the Portuguese public and Portuguese Muslims. Apart from the Youth Association, Shakil is also a member of the Zakat Association, where he is mainly responsible for the logistics and working directly with people Born in Lisbon, Portugal , Shakil works in fulltime, but he is very keen to volunteer work, doing some other works with the Oncology Hospital and with the "Banco Alimentar"(Association to fight hunger).

Zakir Zikar Karim is a member of the Board of the Youth Association of the Islamic Community (CilJovem) , a non-profit religious, educational and cultural association dedicated to organize activities to promote interaction inside the Islamic Community and at the same time to build bridges between the Portuguese public and Portuguese Muslims. Apart from the Youth Association, Zakir is also a member of the Zakat Association, where he is the manager of the Database and takes part in the discussion of the budget. Born in Lisbon, Portugal , Zakir graduated in Informatic and Management and works for UniLever in fulltime, but he is very keen to volunteer work, doing some other works with the Oncology Hospital and with the "Banco Alimentar" (Association to fight hunger).

Sheikh David Munir began his religious education at a madrasa in India, where he had memorized the Qur'an by 1986. He later graduated in Islamic Theology from the Islamic Center of Karachi and went on to do his MA in Islamic studies at Karachi University. He left Pakistan in 1986 at age 23. Since then, he has been the Imam of the Central Mosque of Lisbon. Sheikh Munir lectures occassionaly at universities in Portugal. He also teaches Arabic language and Islamic culture classes at the Central Mosque of Lisbon. He frequently engages in interfaith dialogue with members of other Abrahamic faiths. Sheikh Munir was born in Mozambique to a Yemeni father and a Mozambiquean mother of Indian descent.
