At a gala benefiting Women's eNews, attendees celebrated Daisy's work with the WISE Initiative and the newsworthy accomplishments of twenty other leaders. Doha Debates: Extremism Study Results
Some of you may have seen the Doha Debates on March 3rd, 2008 on which Muslims debated extremism. As a follow up, BBC conducted a poll of countries in the GCC, Levant, and North Africa. The results are illuminating and eye opening. For instance, 56% Muslims in these countries define extremism as intolerance of others holding different religious views. The poll will take five minutes to review. Please feel free to forward this to others who may be interested.
