NGO representatives, religious scholars and educators came together in Islamabad on March 14 for WISE's first Pakistan regional meeting, aimed at establishing collaboration between members of the WISE network on the ground. About 30 men and women gathered for the one-day event and participated in a leadership and team-building session.

Imam Mohammed Daniel at the 7th Doha Conference on Interfaith Dialogue - MLT, Kuwait
Imam Mohammed Daniel was invited to attend the 7th Doha Conference on Interfaith Dialogue organized by the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Qatar University.
Over 250 participants from 59 countries — Jews, Christians and Muslims — attended the two-day conference held under the theme, "Human solidarity." The discussions focused on the religious response to wars, calamities, poverty and the economic crisis.
"The theme of human solidarity challenged the participants to draw on the best of their spiritual resources while at the same time acknowledging that no community can be complacent that they have implemented the high ideals of their respective religions. Only through cooperation, understanding and mutual respect can a truly human solidarity be achieved," said a statement issued at the end of the conference.

Dubai Channel Reality TV show, Mujaddidun, features Ethar El-Katatney - MLT, Egypt
Ethar El-Katatney recently participated in Mujaddidun, a reality TV show that is airing on Dubai Channel. Similar to Donald's Trump "The Apprentice", the show features Egyptian preacher Amr Khaled.
The show featured sixteen people from nine Arab countries. Filmed in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Sudan, each episode shows teams accomplishing a challenge in three days.
