On World Leadership Day, March 20, the Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow (MLT) celebrates the legacy of our Muslim leaders, past and present. In communities and societies throughout the world, Muslims have made outstanding contributions in countless fields, contributions that have led to the flourishing and progress of human civilization. We recognize and honor these efforts. We also commit ourselves to nurturing a new generation of leaders that can respond to the demands of our time and build peaceful and prosperous societies.

The Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow (MLT) is a program of the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) and the Cordoba Initiative (CI). ASMA aims to elevate the discourse on Islam and foster environments in which Muslims thrive through interfaith collaboration, youth and women's empowerment, and arts and cultural exchange. The Cordoba Initiative works to improve relations between the Muslim World and the West by offering innovative, viable, and sustainable solutions with concrete outcomes. MLT is a global program, social network, and grassroots movement dedicated to cultivating the next generation of Muslim leaders. The MLT program builds capacity, provides access to networks, and provides a collective platform to create social change. MLT is one of the largest global programs of its kind in creating a new generation of Muslim civic leadership that is connected to one another.
